With the PFRA Symposium fast approaching on 22 October, we’re excited to introduce some of the speakers and sector experts joining us at the Aerial Function Centre, UTS Sydney.
This year’s Symposium brings together leading voices from across fundraising and beyond to explore the trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the future of face-to-face fundraising.
Paul Tavatgis MA FFIA – The Benchmarking Project
Benchmarking
Paul has been involved with F2F since 1999. He was PFRA’s inaugural CEO and has worked in support of more than 75 charities, agencies, and sector peak bodies in Australia and New Zealand.
Kate Burtt – Blackbaud
Payment Trends
Kate started as a F2F fundraiser more than 20 years ago and is passionate about helping organisations build sustainable growth through donor experience, payment optimisation and innovation.
Anne McDonnell – Nimbley
Payment Trends
Anne is recognised as one of Australia’s leading payments experts. She partners with charities to improve regular giving, reduce declines, and deliver CRM transformation programs.
Phoebe Duggan – Justice Connect
Privacy and Legal Considerations with AI
Phoebe is a senior leader and lawyer with over 15 years experience across the not-for-profit and private sectors. She combines expertise in charity law with a passion for social impact and innovation.
Michele Wilkinson – The FIN Agency
Case Study Session and Panel Host
Michele has over 30 years’ experience across direct sales, marketing and face-to-face fundraising. She will host our panel and share her expertise in a case study session.
Kerry Johnstone – Aida/Surge Direct
Panel Session
Kerry has almost 30 years in direct sales operations and client management across multiple countries, channels, and industries. She has extensive senior management and board experience.
Valentin Ziegler – Community Collective
Panel Session
Val has over 16 years experience in individual giving across both charities and agencies. He oversees partnerships and campaign delivery across a supply chain of 160+ fundraisers and 20 charities.
Daniela Pizzoli – Plan International Australia
Panel Session
Dani began her career as a F2F fundraiser and now leads strategy and performance for Plan International Australia’s regular giving program, from acquisition through to supporter value and retention.
Felicity Reid – Cerebral Palsy Alliance
Panel Session
Felicity is a passionate advocate for sustainable regular giving, and remains inspired by the power of skilled fundraisers and the lasting impact that can begin with a simple conversation.
Hannah Starkins – Heart Foundation
Case Study Session
Hannah is the Regular Giving Acquisition Lead at the Heart Foundation. Prior to this, she was in London, playing a key role in the delivery of a £1.25 million digital transformation project.
